Performs the primary functions of a registered nurse in assessing, planning implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients on the unit during his/her shift. Responsible for meeting the established standards of Nursing Practice, for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment of unit, and for promoting team work with the physician and personnel of other departments.
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing RN MA License.
Desired: BSN, ACLS, and Certification in specialty area.
Required: 2-5 yrs med/surg nursing experience.
Desired: Prior Critical Care experience.
Must be able to sit, stand and walk independently for 8-12 hours. Must have gross motor function of both hands and feet. Must have precise motor function of both hands. Must be able to reach, bend, lift, carry, push and pull one third of the time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less unassisted and 51 or more lbs. assisted. Must be signed and able to distinguish colors.
Hours/Schedule: Full-time 36 hours, 7:00pm-7:30am
