As the Financial Analyst, your responsibilities with consist of performing financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. The Financial Analyst will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. In this role, the candidate will interact with colleagues in a business partner capacity in areas such as forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Major responsibilities - Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities - Produce and monitor forecasting reports - An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations - Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support - Possess the know-how and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes - Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation and prioritization, and event tracking and execution - Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary - Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources r - Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment level Bookings and P L forecasting - Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed

Requirements: Our client, a multinational manufacturer in the Hartford area, is looking to add a Financial Analyst to their team. The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Director of Finance. Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst role include: - Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement - 3+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Solid understanding of financial analysis - Financial planning analysis (go-to-market experience recommended) - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Experience with financial data management processes systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested - Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations This is a great opportunity to get in with a phenomenal company.
