Molex Quality Specialist in Clinton, Massachusetts
Assembly of gas sensor elements and detectors in our Williamsville, NY manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for assembling electro-chemical sensors and related sub-assemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Perform mechanical assembly of small sensors and electronic parts for gas detection.
Perform precision hand assembly of small and complex components.
Perform a variety of repetitive operations.
View work through a microscope for extended periods of time.
Ensure machines and equipment perform properly and operate safely. Perform preventative maintenance as required.
Visually inspect product to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Complete tracking documentation and related paperwork as required.
Work both independently and as a team member.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
May be required to work in other areas, but the majority of work will be confined to the production area.
Job Title:Quality SpecialistJob Description:Phillips Medisize LLC is seeking a Quality Specialist to support the quality function by facilitating key quality systems/processes and ensuring all internal and external customer requirements are met. Assist the quality function by serving as a focal point for information collection and distribution.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage key quality processes (Document Control, CAPA, non-conforming, deviation, OOS, calibration, etc).
Support quality systems by collecting and providing information to internal and external customers and perform tasks such as generating engineering change orders, ensuring quality system paperwork is up-to-date and meets GMP compliance
Support quality during audits and visits (i.e., customer, regulatory, registrar, internal)
Interact with external customers on issues not requiring technical information from quality engineering such as corrective actions, customer approval/submissions, returned material authorization (RMA), etc.
Manage customized ERP activities such as generating and maintaining the corrective action, doc control, calibration, NCMR and RMA/complaint systems
Effectively communicate Quality metrics across all levels of the organization
Work within a team environment to complete other quality related duties as assigned
Review DHR records for accuracy, GDP and compliance as a part of the LHR batch release process
Review daily dimensions for GDP and compliance to documented specifications
Provide feedback to the Quality Team Lead of any OOT conditions
Provide additional support to Quality Technicians on a fill in basis

Technical Associates Degree in Quality related field with 0 – 2 years related experience,
Minimum four (4) years of directly related experience and education with no degree.
Minimum four (4) years of experience in an engineering or customer-related discipline
Proficient computer skills including ERP systems
Ability to manage multiple projects
Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Understanding of quality systems and metrology
