Access & Evaluation
4p to 2:30am, 30 hrs per wk
- JOB SUMMARY: Works under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Access & Evaluation in the completion of the admission psychiatric Nursing Assessment and facilitates patient's transition to inpatient unit. Works with the VP of Access & Evaluation, in collaboration with Clinical Managers, to assist in providing organization and administration of unit based nursing services on all programs. Mentors staff in providing safe and therapeutic delivery of nursing care and advocates for clinical nursing needs. NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: May be required to perform duties of lesser, equal or greater responsibility. Other duties as assigned by Clinical Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Current Vermont licensure as a registered nurse with a diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN. Minimum of three years inpatient psych experience. Experience working in admissions. ABILITIES: Leadership skills with previous management and/or supervision experience. Collaborative style work skills with a multidisciplinary team. Direct staff in the performance and follow through of on-unit programming. Direct/mentor staff in a firm & compassionate manner. Computer skills appropriate to the job.
